  • FRENCH COOKING

French Cooking has never been my 'thing', however I remember watching the Julia Childs shows with great interest and trying a lot of her recipes. I bought her first cookbook and she has always been a hero of mine -- but I never really got into the French cusine.

I remember being in Paris with you two girls and wondering where in the heck I would take you to eat! Of course the Japanese restaurant was a memory unto itself, but I can't for the life of me remember what we ate in Paris. I do know that the morning markets are wonderful with the fresh baked baquettes and the fruit jams, but lunch and dinner? I just can't recall.

Probably my favorite recipe here would be the 4hr lamb roast - a pretty expensive meal, but totally worth the $$ and the effort if you are having company. There are very few vegetable recipes here because I really don't like the way the French do their veggies.

As time goes by I might find some more recipes that will work -- or if you have any, just send them to me and I'll post them up here.
